Having an amazing fajita seasoning mix on hand that doesn’t have any chemicals, gluten, colorant, or other unnecessary things is literally worth it’s weight in gold. I’m going to show you this simple recipe, but first let’s quickly check out why we would want to make our own versus spending $1.50 on the convenience of a pre-made packet.
Did you know that the FDA literally admits to allowing things to be put in foods while the “FDA can never be absolutely certain of the absence of any risk from the use of any substance”. They make that blanket statement there on their website so that they don’t have to identify the sketchy ingredients individually on the packages. Sly, sly dog.
The FDA continues to allow harmful contaminants to deliberately be placed in our foods, and oftentimes just so that we will become addicted to them and buy more. These harmful things are far from anything we need, so why do they do it? Why do we keep paying for it??
And, while even the medical literature calls out the government and other regulatory entities, for failing to stop these unhealthy practices, it remains unanswered. We continue to be poisoned, we continue to gain weight and lose mobility. We continue to exponentially develop chronic diseases. And so much more. So, what can we do? Take the power of our nutritional health into our own hands until we see some serious positive change that has our best interests at heart, not the pockets of those ‘food’ companies and the FDA. That’s what we’re doing with this recipe here. One small step for man…
The Amazing Fajita Seasoning Mix (with so much more than that to offer)
This stuff is so versatile and can spruce up any dish, with its bold and savory combination of flavors. I used it recently in my Valentine’s Dinner post and it was a big hit. No need to explain further- the taste speaks for itself.
Grab some Garlic, Onion Powder, Paprika, Chili Powder, Oregano, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, and Cumin. You’ll need at the very least, a tablespoon and a teaspoon. If you have 1/2 tablespoon and 1/2 teaspoon sizes, grab those too.
Mix all those together and depending on if you omitted anything, or how exact you measured, you should come out with approximately 12 one-teaspoon size servings. All done!!
